My Story: Walking in Your Shoes

 

I founded this business because I know exactly how you feel. I don't just know bookkeeping;

I served as the Owner and CFO of my own company for 18 years, mastering the small business struggle firsthand.

Back in 2007, when my husband and I launched our Audio/Visual business, we were passionate but unprepared for the financial complexity. As the Owner and CFO, I took on the bookkeeping from the start, and honestly, managing the initial financial chaos became my biggest obstacle.

The frustration was real. I always seemed to be behind, and the chaos of the numbers was often discouraging. I can truly say: I have walked in your shoes. 

 

From Chaos to Clarity

 

However, that initial struggle fueled my determination. I jumped in, became self-taught, and eventually transitioned our company to the streamlined efficiency of QuickBooks Online. Over nearly two decades, I became proficient not just in recording transactions, but in using the numbers strategically—the core function of a CFO. I mastered how to run the right reports to track cash flow, maximize profitability,  and identify opportunities for improvement year after year. That experience transformed our business, turning what was once a source of anxiety into a powerful tool for growth and stability.

 

My husband and I recently closed our business to pursue other opportunities, and I realized where my true passion and expertise lies: helping others avoid the strategic missteps and financial guesswork acquired over nearly two decades of business ownership.
